Prologue Concept 1
“C'mon Kairi, you're doing great.” I whisper.
She cries out, squeezing my hand tighter. Her grip is anything but delicate, her nails piercing dangerously into my skin, maybe even puncturing it.
“Don't sweat it, Kai. You're almost there.” I assure her, kissing her sweating forehead.
“Riku is right, Kairi,” Wakka laughs comfortingly, “Your baby is almost here!~”
Since two years ago, Wakka'd achieved his license to practice medicine, and a few other things, too. He'd agreed to deliver our baby at no cost, and I feel like I'll forever be in debt to him for that. Even if he says it's a pleasure.
“C'mon, Kairi!” Sora cheers from the other side of the bed. He'd looked sick a minute earlier, and I get that. Sora might be a nineteen-year-old on his outside, but at the core, he's just as much a kid as he'd always been.
Rikai: Do you love me?Disclaimer: "I do not own Kingdom Hearts..."Rikai: Do you love me? by ~Kiara-theBloodless
“Do you love me?”
A simple, direct question. There are only two possible answers. One would lead him to the absolute happiness. The other would probably shatter him in a million of pieces and return him into the dark’s depths again. But that would mean his best friend’s happiness...
And what was more important? His own happiness or his best friend’s one?
She looks back at him, her face doesn’t show any expression. She thinks. They have been friends since they were child although initially they have been wary of each other.
But, was there anything else than that between them?
She looks at him and sees in his heart. Sees someone who would protect her from anything, who would like her as she is and loved her more than anyone. But she also sees fear, fear of harm, of a negative response.
And she hates it.
Because Kairi knows she will never be safe as with Riku.
“No” she hears herself

Story: I wrote this piece a while back in 2010 for a friend of mine DenizenofTwilight/eolhcsullivan452.
I was doing Rikai stories then based off of songs and she sent me the song Blue skies by Diana DeGarmo
and said she thought it would make a good story. I listened to it and thought she was right. It's a
great song and i thought it would fit Riku very well with his feelings toward Kairi. Anyway, while
listening to the song i ended up with this story and while the song may be meant to be lighthearted
somehow that's not what i ended up with. Nonetheless, i'm exactly very proad of this story. I also
must admit this song is also partially inspired by the song Everything by Lifehouse.
This story is Dedicated to my dear friend DenizenofTwilight/eolhcsullivan452!

The raindrops were falling from the sky with icy force, simulating tears in the red-haired's cheeks who was waiting, patient, the return of her loved ones. She thought, ironically, of the soldiers who went to the war leaving behind their wifes, their family and their friends.
Kairi smiled, sadly. She will be the eternal wife, always waiting.
"Kairi, you'll fall ill if you stay here" Selphie said, worried. Her friend did not answer "Come on, you must rest a little. Let's go home. We'll come back tomorrow."
Kairi ducked. She and her parents has discussed two days ago, because of Kairi's disappearance months ago, when Axel tried to kidnap her and she ran into the Realm of Darkness. After Sora and Riku's departure, she started to being sullen with everyone, and she escape from her house when her father shouted her.
"Alright, as you wish" the younger one sighed, giving an umbrella to Kairi "
Our own Secret Secret PlaceThe sunset was so pretty. Kairi loved the way the colors exploded across the sky. It was one of the things you could watch over and over again. She never understood how her friends got bored of this place, her real home. But Sora wasn't here to watch, his parents were still uptight about him going out. Of course she understood that they didn't want him to leave again, Kairi didn't want either of her friends to leave either. At least Sora convinced his parents to let him go to the island. Our own Secret Secret Place by ~LostShell
She kicked her feet underneath her, swinging them back and forth under the tree. Then she looked behind her, she wasn't exactly sure why. There was nothing there, just the same back gr- wait what just moved. Way far away, up in the more forest-y area, she saw something move. Squinting, she could make out the silhouette of her best friend, Riku. He must've snuck out, or somethin
Lock and Key-RikaiAs I reached for my books inside of my large, metalic locker, I heard a group of girls giggling behind me.Lock and Key-Rikai by ~BurningGlory
"Aren't boys really cute when they have journels?" One, Selphie, asked, giggling so much that I almost got a migraine from the high pitched noise.
"Yeah!" I heard a girl say, along with murmurs of agreement.
With that, I found myself blushing extremely hard, for in my hands, I held my journel.
"Riku!" A voice called out directly behind me.
Quickly, I covered up my journel with a math textbook. Then, I turned to the voice.
Behind me stood a boy with his hands wrapped together behind his head. He wore a large grin, as always, and looked to me.
"Hey, Sora," I said, closing and locking my locker as loose papers flew out.
"Hi! Ready to go?" he asked, gesturing towards the exit door of the school.
"Nope. I have detention," I said, sighing at the thought of abandoning my friends on the school bus.
"What for?" Sora asked, tilting his head to the side.
I just yawned, not really
